Background

We all experience times in our lives where it all seems overwhelming. Maybe we don’t feel like ourselves anymore, or we find that our stress has been increasing more than we know what to do with. In these moments, we may find that we just want someone to listen, or someone to help us sort through everything that we have going on. Be it anxiety, depression, or processing through difficult events, therapy can be a safe place to take care of ourselves and our mental wellbeing.

My goal as a therapist is to create a compassionate and safe environment that is inclusive of not only all walk of life, but also of culture and spirituality. I believe that therapy should be a personalized, collaborative experience between the client and the therapist, and that the client knows themself best. I always seek to integrate the clients strengths and values into the therapeutic process. I use a style that is integrated, but always client-centered and catered to the needs of the individual client.

If you are considering therapy, I urge you to take that leap of faith. There is no “threshold” to meet; you are welcomed here, as you are. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you, and to walk along side you through this journey!
