Kellie is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and supervises the Communication Focused Behavior Therapy program at Sandbox. Kellie received a bachelor’s degree from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Eastern Michigan University. She has a background in special education, having worked in both early education and high school autism education programs in the Chicago area prior to moving to Washington in 2015. Kellie is trained in PROMPT Level 1, PECS, and Applied Verbal Behavior, and has pursued extensive training in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and social communication.
Kellie lives in Seattle and enjoys hiking, aerial arts/fitness, and playing pub trivia.
