Laura Dennis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling from Prescott College. As a therapist, Laura has had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients including children, adolescents, adults, families and couples working through trauma, emotional regulation, interpersonal conflict and various symptoms of depression or anxiety. Her experiences also expand working with clients with co-occurring diagnosis and substance use issues in treatment centers, school based-services and community agencies.
Her counseling style incorporates experiential evidence based practices (CBT, DBT, ABA) while incorporating the outdoors to help support holistic healing within clients daily functioning. She specialized in wilderness & adventure therapy in AZ before moving to Seattle in 2017. In her spare time she spends evenings with her dog Freckles, practicing yoga, hiking, fundraising for local nonprofits, volunteering, and traveling overseas.
