Background
Being a human can be hard work! Day-to-day challenges can range from the simply annoying to the downright overwhelming. Who couldn’t benefit from the support of a therapeutic relationship? By providing a safe and supportive environment, I help clients find answers, expand their perspectives, and build healthy habits to strengthen relationships with themselves, the circumstances of their lives, and others on their journey. Using a mixture of assessment and therapeutic intervention, I am committed to assisting you in achieving your best life… and who knows, maybe we’ll have a little fun along the way!
My name is Nicole Nagle and I am a Licensed Mental Health Associate providing psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention at Sandbox Therapy Group. I hold a master’s degree in Counseling and Sport Psychology and I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, concentrating in Pediatric Health and Neuropsychology. Although a student of contextual behavioral science, I maintain that no single approach is right for every individual. Psychological assessment is key to revealing any underlying causes for challenges and informs what interventions would work best for you. I am versed in many therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I integrate evidence-based techniques that acknowledge and respect the values, beliefs, and cultural background of the individual who has sought my assistance in their journey. As a result, I meet you where you are… right here, right now.
I have a wealth of experience working with a variety of individuals in many settings. However, I am as real as it gets. I have had my share of life’s twists and turns and come to you with a realistic perspective on how tough getting through a day can be. With that compassion and with my personal philosophy of “anything is possible,” I look forward to the opportunity to work with you or your child and illuminate the path to a happy and fulfilling life.
