Masters in Education from the University of Washington with a focus on behavioral disorders and learning disabilities. Substance Use Disorder Professional from Edmonds Community College since 2007. License Mental Health Counselor student from The Seattle School and co-occurring treatment since 2010.
Sally uses a multi-dimensional approach which integrates a bio-psycho-social-spiritual assessment and treatment. Her previous work included treating clients with mental health and substance use issues. She also worked with special education students for 15 years prior to becoming a counselor.
She uses a strength-based approach to treatment, putting the client in charge of their treatment and the method used. She is versed in Transaction Analysis, (reparenting model), behavioral therapy, role play, trauma, and grief & loss treatment. She is accepting new clients (at least 10 years old) who are committed to consistently attending sessions.
